Our mission — reliable testing and safe construction

MATTEST helps improve construction safety and reliability in seismically active Uzbekistan through credible, professional and traceable testing.

Why safety is not a marketing line

Uzbekistan is a seismically active country. Buildings, bridges, industrial facilities and infrastructure must withstand not only daily loads but also unpredictable seismic actions. Behind the reliability of every structure stand specific materials: concrete, rebar, foundation soil, welded joints, piles.

Testing these materials is not a paperwork procedure. Every result affects an engineering decision: concrete class, pile length, pavement thickness, weld acceptance. We understand the responsibility behind every number on a test report.

That is why MATTEST does not treat construction quality control as a formality. Reliable testing is a contribution to the safety of people who will live, work and travel through the built environment.

Our contribution to society

We are building a culture of credible and traceable testing in Uzbekistan.

We talk about culture, not just technology, because technology alone does not guarantee quality. The instrument records data, but credibility depends on the engineer, the method, the procedure and the organisation of work. We aim to show how this culture looks in the daily practice of a laboratory:

  • every test is actually performed, not merely documented as done;
  • primary data, photographs and digital records confirm the course of work;
  • engineer, equipment, method and test time are all linked to the result;
  • the client can re-verify the history of every result.

Four pillars of a credible result

We do not promise a universal turnaround time and we do not give the same commitments to every test. Duration depends on method, scope and sample preparation. But we stand firmly on four pillars that are not open to negotiation:

  1. Method. The test is performed in full compliance with the applicable method — without skipping mandatory steps for the sake of speed or savings.
  2. Calibrated equipment. Instruments have valid verification or calibration where required. Metrological status is confirmed before the test, not after.
  3. Experienced engineer. Work is performed by specialists with practical experience. Before working independently, every engineer completes mentorship and receives sign-off from a senior specialist.
  4. Traceable result. Primary records, photographs, timestamps and coordinates allow the history of every result to be re-verified.

Method. Calibrated equipment. Experienced engineer. Traceable result. These four elements form a system, not a collection of marketing points.

The digital laboratory as the basis of trust

We develop the digital test loop together with M-Instrument. Specialised equipment and software connect with real laboratory practice.

In the MATTEST digital model, the instrument's result is automatically linked to GPS coordinates, a photograph of the test point, a timestamp and engineer identification. This is not a futuristic interface but an engineering system that eliminates manual data transfer and allows the history of every measurement to be verified.

Instruments already in the digital loop: MIT STRIKE 225 (Schmidt rebound hammer for concrete express control), MIT KIK (seismic pile integrity testing), MIT UZK MONOLIT (cross-hole ultrasonic pile testing).

Five directions of our mission

Our mission is realised through five interconnected directions — each supports the others:

1. MATTEST Laboratory

Laboratory and field testing, participation in major construction projects, accurate and reproducible results, digital path from request and sample to test report and analytics.

2. M-Instrument

Supply of modern testing equipment, deployment of instruments in laboratories and construction organisations, user training, service and integration with software.

3. Industry education

Professional seminars, training materials, industry initiatives, participation in professional dialogue on construction quality.

4. Technology ecosystem

Equipment plus software = digital laboratory. Automation of data and reports. Transparency and traceability of results. Accumulation of industry knowledge.

5. People and culture

Hiring strong specialists, engineering responsibility, culture of precision and professional development. An internal environment able to retain and strengthen talented people.

Roadmap: from laboratory to training centre

We do not present the picture of the future as an achievement delivered. These are sequential steps, each built on the previous one:

  1. Operating laboratory. Launch a laboratory in Tashkent and secure work with real projects across Uzbekistan.
  2. Digital model. Together with M-Instrument, deploy digital laboratory equipment and software.
  3. Proven practice. Verify the system on real tests and build an evidence base.
  4. Training centre. On the basis of an operating digital laboratory, build a training centre — teaching inside a real working technology laboratory, not in an isolated showroom.
  5. Joint programs. Through the training centre, develop programs with government, universities, engineers and industry organisations.
