ABOUT AND MISSION

MATTEST — a construction testing laboratory with more than 10 years of practice

MATTEST enters Uzbekistan on two pillars: laboratory services and the M-Instrument testing equipment product line. Behind the company stands over ten years of MATTEST Group practice on major Russian construction projects — Olympic construction in Sochi, airport infrastructure, national railway facilities.

We come to Uzbekistan not as a new laboratory without a track record, but as an engineering team that brings verified experience, its own M-Instrument devices, and a digital model of test traceability.

Public mission

MATTEST helps improve construction safety and reliability in seismically active Uzbekistan through credible, professional and traceable testing.

Seismic safety is not a historical footnote — it is part of the laboratory's daily responsibility. Every test we perform influences an engineering decision and, ultimately, human safety.

Three values for the client

Over the years, three core values have shaped why major clients choose MATTEST Group:

  1. All tests in one laboratory. The client does not have to coordinate multiple providers. Concrete, soils, piles, steel, asphalt and other materials — a single quality-control program for the project.
  2. Honest testing. Every result is backed by primary records and process photographs. We do not rewrite numbers for the sake of a convenient conclusion.
  3. Speed. Construction downtime is expensive for the client. Our team operates at the rhythm of the site — this is culture, not a marketing line.

Words from the founder

MATTEST is a laboratory with more than 10 years of history. The core values for the client are: all tests can be done in one laboratory; honest testing; speed of testing. People determine everything — that is why the strongest specialists work in the company.
At MATTEST every test is confirmed by primary records and photographs of the process. The laboratory is now transitioning into a digital reality: tests become fully traceable and credible through photographs, geolocation and digital test records.
Our equipment means unlimited access to instruments. It is technologically advanced and delivers speed of work. Digital testing means the result is traceable — not simply notes on paper, but the history of every measurement.
MATTEST sets the tone for the digital laboratory and is ready to share this practice with the professional community.

Technology vertical MATTEST × M-Instrument

The MATTEST digital laboratory is developed jointly with M-Instrument — the testing equipment manufacturer of the Group.

Specialised M-Instrument equipment + software = digital laboratory.

M-Instrument creates the technological base — instruments and software. MATTEST turns them into real testing practice, where technology is verified on live construction sites. This creates a link unavailable to an ordinary laboratory: the equipment developer and its user evolve the system together, not in isolation.

Instruments already in the digital loop: MIT STRIKE 225 (Schmidt rebound hammer), MIT KIK (seismic pile integrity testing), MIT UZK MONOLIT (cross-hole ultrasonic testing). The instrument result is automatically linked to GPS coordinates, a photograph of the test point and a digital test record.

What we guarantee in every test

We do not promise a universal turnaround time — it depends on the method, scope and preparation. But we stand firmly on four pillars of credibility:

  1. Method. The test is performed in full compliance with the applicable method, without skipping mandatory steps.
  2. Calibrated equipment. Instruments have valid verification or calibration where required.
  3. Experienced engineer. Tests are performed by specialists with practical field experience; average engineer tenure across the Group is around three years.
  4. Traceable result. Primary records, photographs, timestamps and coordinates allow the history of every result to be re-verified.

In short: Method. Calibrated equipment. Experienced engineer. Traceable result.

How we recruit and train

An instrument records data. The engineer is responsible for the credibility of the test. That is why hiring and training at MATTEST is part of the quality system, not an HR formality.

  1. Technical screening. Before hire, candidates take a written test in physics, mathematics, geometry and theoretical mechanics. We check engineering thinking, not the resume.
  2. Mentorship. A new engineer works alongside an experienced colleague. Theory is immediately tied to the instrument, the structure and site conditions.
  3. Senior sign-off. An engineer is authorised to work independently only after a senior specialist confirms readiness.
  4. Annual examinations. The team's competence is checked regularly. Examinations are not a formality: if readiness is insufficient, the specialist is transferred to supporting work under supervision.
A professional is an engineer with a technical mindset. The screening our people go through can be passed by an engineer from any company. We are ready to share this practice with the market.

MATTEST Group ecosystem

MATTEST is not a single laboratory but a forming engineering and technology group with several interconnected directions:

  • MATTEST Laboratory — laboratory and field testing, support of major construction projects, digital path from request and sample to test report and analytics.
  • M-Instrument — specialised testing equipment, software, user training, service and integration with the laboratory's digital system.
  • Industry education — seminars, training materials, dialogue with the professional community and government institutions.
  • Technology ecosystem — instruments plus software, digital laboratory, data and report automation, accumulation of industry knowledge.
  • People and culture — strong specialists, engineering responsibility, culture of precision and professional development.

Our roadmap in Uzbekistan

A new company in a new country must earn trust. We therefore separate honestly what we already do, what we are preparing, and what is part of a five-year strategic mission:

  1. Launch an operating laboratory in Tashkent. Standard site visits within the city and region; individual logistics or a laboratory post for major remote projects.
  2. Deploy the digital laboratory equipment and software together with M-Instrument. First instruments are already linked with the mobile application and cloud storage.
  3. Complete the Uzbek accreditation procedure. Internal estimate — 2 to 3 months after launch.
  4. Build a demonstration digital laboratory as a working benchmark of the new standard.
  5. Launch a training centre based on the operating laboratory. Training happens on real equipment and real processes, not in an isolated showroom.
  6. Develop joint programs with government bodies and technical universities — spreading practice of credibility, traceability and engineering competence.

Accreditation status

At the time of this site launch, the Uzbek MATTEST laboratory is in the accreditation procedure. Until we hold the official document, we do not call the Uzbek laboratory accredited and we do not label methods as covered by the scope of accreditation.

Once the certificate is issued, its number, validity period, scope of accreditation and a link to the official register will be published on this site. We consider transparent status disclosure the only honest form of communication with a client.

The experience of MATTEST Group in Russia, our own equipment, metrologically confirmed instruments, specialist qualification and digital traceability serve as the basis of trust during the transition period — but they do not substitute the fact of Uzbek accreditation.

Our five-year goal

We are building a culture of credible and traceable testing in Uzbekistan.

Over five years, MATTEST aims to:

  • become a reference point for the digital laboratory in Uzbekistan;
  • show a working model of traceable testing on real construction projects;
  • build a training centre that educates engineers and organisations within an operating laboratory practice;
  • take part in professional and government dialogue on construction quality;
  • maintain the MATTEST × M-Instrument link as a technology vertical of the industry.

We do not present this picture of the future as an achievement already delivered. It is the direction of movement that sets the scale of our present decisions.

MATTEST voice

MATTEST speaks first as a rigorous expert, then as a strong partner of the client.

Expertise means precise wording, respect for the method and readiness to deliver an inconvenient result. Partnership means understanding the construction task, clearly explaining consequences, and taking responsibility for the next step. Partnership does not replace technical truth: the result stays the same even if it is inconvenient.

Speak precisely as an expert. Act responsibly as a partner.
